Jason’s vision is bold and urgent: to modernize and re-architect disconnected financial infrastructure so that it works for today’s workforce. He believes the current system is fragmented and inequitable, leaving millions of workers without the ability to spend and save properly and employers with untapped potential in their teams. At Chime Enterprise, Jason is building and scaling the tools needed to change that, resulting in deeper employee engagement, retention, and productivity, and making long-term financial well-being accessible for all.

Jason’s career journey began on Wall Street, where he spent nearly two decades advising and building solutions for some of the world’s most powerful financial institutions. That experience gave him an insider’s view of how the financial system worked—and who it failed. Over the past decade, he has founded and scaled three category-defining businesses aimed at closing structural gaps in the system, generating billions of dollars in value. In 2015, he created DailyPay and invented earned wage access (EWA), giving workers real-time access to their income. He later founded Salt Labs, helping millions of frontline workers capture the long-term value of their time, and Friday, a disruptive digital banking platform. 

Today, as Chief of Chime Enterprise, Jason continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible. He is reimagining how a more connected, inclusive financial system can improve outcomes for every stakeholder in the economy.

Jason launched The Alicia and Jason Lee Fund in 2020. He holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and lives in New York City with his wife Alicia and their three children.
